HyperFlex 5-Layer Oxygen Barrier PE-RT Heating Tubing
Description
HyperFlex is a 5-layer PE-RT heating tube coils ideal for radiant
hydronic heating projects, including indoor radiant heating and
cooling and outdoor applications like snowmelt and turf warming. The
internal EVOH layer reduces oxygen permeation and protects system
components from corrosion. HyperFlex is compatible with all commonly
available fitting systems for plastic pipe, including cold
expansion, crimp and cinch, PE-RT/PEX press, insert,
push-to-connect, and fusion fittings.
5-Layer Design
HyperFlex's five-layer design includes a central O2 barrier core of
ethylene vinyl alcohol polymer (EVOH), which blocks oxygen
permeation and prevents oxidation. The EVOH core is surrounded both
inside and out by an adhesive layer that secures it to the inner and
outer layers of the advanced DOWLEX™ 2344 PE-RT resin.
