Variable Speed Pump
The Grundfos Variable Speed pump is another product with fully integrated control. The variable
speed controller requires a control signal from a 0-10/2-10 DC voltage sources or 0-20/4-20 mA
current sources and is user selectable. If desired the manual-% dial allows the speed of the
pump to be manually adjusted and set by the user. The speed of the pump may be manually adjusted
anywhere from min to 100%, but once set remains fixed at that speed.
In addition pump speed may be set as 0-100% or 15-100% by user.
The control also provides pump exercising for 10 seconds every 3 days and a power up reset, which
runs the pump for 3 seconds at full speed, for all modes of operation.
Terminal box mounted LEDs provide operation (power is applied) and performance (flashes slower
or faster) indication.
